As a self taught artist living in Fairbanks since 2004, I delight in capturing the wildlife and beautiful scenery around me in Alaska. Using oils on canvas and a vivid color palette I play with warm and cool colors to mimic the subtle changes occurring in light and shadows. My goal is to convey the visual vibrations our eyes experience through contrasting colors. By using bold colors and expressive brushstrokes I endeavor to bring the wilds of Alaska to life. I hope you find as much pleasure in my art as I do creating it!
